Although the United States Federal Government does not have defined standards for measuring the impact of youth financial literacy education, it does provide general guidelines that Money Matter$ LLC adheres to in an effort to strengthen its impact within the community.  

Money Matter$ Guiding Principles

1. To know the individuals that are being served

2. To provide actionable, relevant and timely information

3. To assist individuals in understanding what are and are not critical financial skills

4. To build upon the individual’s motivation to learn financial literacy

5. To improve decision making and follow-through

6. To provide ongoing support  

7. To evaluate programs for impact

U.S. FINANCIAL LITERACY GUIDELINES

We offer a variety of virtual and in-person workshops designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of the community we serve.  

Our programs are designed to provide students in grades 6 thru 12 with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed and flourish in a creative and fun way. 

Sample Workshop Descriptions

Money Basics & Identifying Financial Goals
Students will complete a financial literacy assessment and set financial goals.  

Earning Money & Budgeting
Applying Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) principles, students will develop a minimum of three potential careers of interest and develop a budget. 

Investing
Applying Critical and Long-Term Planning Skills, students will develop a personalized investment strategy for the upcoming year.
