Our Mission is to educate the youth about financial literacy concepts and to build their confidence as they set and achieve financial goals.
Money Matter$ LLC was founded by Mrs. Lisa M. Wallington because of her desire to help children and teens develop a fundamental understanding of how money works, to help them set and achieve financial goals and build financial confidence. Mrs. Wallington’s personal upbringing and highs & pitfalls with money has made her a unique and in-demand youth financial mentor.
At Money Matter$, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Although the United States Federal Government does not have defined standards for measuring the impact of financial literacy education, it does provide general guidelines that Money Matter$ LLC adheres to in an effort to strengthen its impact within the community.

We offer a variety of virtual and in-person workshops designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students. Our programs are designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed and flourish.

Description: Students will complete a f

Money Basics & Identifying Financial Goals
Description: Students will complete a financial literacy assessment and set financial goals.
Duration: 2 hours
Tools Needed: Ability to connect to Zoom (Computer/Cell Phone), Paper/Pencil/Pen/Calculator
Earning Money & Budgeting
Description: Applying Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) principles, students will develop a minimum of three potential careers of interest and develop a budget.
Duration: 2 hours
Tools Needed: Ability to connect to Zoom (Computer/Cell Phone), Paper/Pencil/Pen/Calculator
Investing
Description: Applying Critical and Long-Term Planning Skills, students will develop a personalized investment strategy for the upcoming year.
Duration: 3 hours
